Community Outreach Activities in Food Science, Nutrition and Technology

The purpose of the field work is to enable the students to assess the Community’s Nutrition and Food Safety Problems. While the students attain practical skills through experiential learning with the community, the communities benefit tremendously from the objective feedback provided during the Community Baraza, Nutrition Education, Food Safety Education, and under-fives de-worming exercise. This programme is conducted by our Students in our Masters Programmes; MSc Applied Human Nutrition and MScFood Safety and Quality.
