DFSNT FIRST YEAR ORIENTATION

The Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology at the University of Nairobi proudly welcomes our newest members of the family  the 2026/2027 first-year cohort. The Department Chairman, Dr. D. Kaindi, had the opportunity to meet our freshers following their admission, get to know how they are settling into university life, and share valuable insights to guide them throughout their four year journey.

The interaction was more than just a welcome; it was an opportunity to remind our students that they are now part of a department built on knowledge, innovation, excellence and service to society.
