DFSNT 2021 NEWSLETTER

The Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology (DFSNT) is one of the leading Departments in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nairobi. The Department is located off Kapenguria Road, 15 Kms to the Northwest of the Nairobi Central Business District. DFSNT degree programmes have evolved from one to six; both in undergraduate and postgraduate with a certificate level course in Food Safety and Quality.

UON Foundation Launch

The University of Nairobi continues to position itself as a global leader in research and innovation. Recently, the University scientists scooped 18 positions in the coveted top 50 nationally by Alper Dodger (AD) Scientific Index.  As a learning institution, we have a bigger mandate to generate, preserve and transfer knowledge for utilization in a manner that meets the aspirations of Kenyans and the global community.
