Vice Chancellor of the University of Nairobi Prof. Stephen Kiama Gitahi addressed the University of Nairobi Virtually on June 26, 2020 at 4.00 p.m. He thanked  all departments that have contributed in  in different ways develop  interventions to fight  Covid-19.

The Chairman of the Department of Food Science Nutrition  Dr. G.O. Abong' held consultative meetings with all classreps on Monday June 15, 2020,  PhD and MSc. Students on June 16, 2020 . The agenda of the meeting was   online teaching and examinations, progress reporting , publications and conferences among many others.
