It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Dr. Jeff Wamiti Muthui, a lecturer in the Department of Food Science, Nutrition, and Technology. A specialist in Clinical and Sports Nutrition, Dr. Jeff Wamiti Muthui will be deeply missed as a friend, teacher, scientist, colleague, and mentor.

Abdiaziz Beina PhD student a PhD Student form the Department of Food Science Nutrition and Technology  has been prominently featured on the Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Food Safety website. We are incredibly proud of Abdiaziz accomplishments and the recognition he is receiving for his dedication to advancing food safety He is being Supervised by Prof . Catherine  N. Kunyanga. who is also the associate dean if the faculty of Agriculture .  See

Researchers from University College Dublin and Meru University accompanied by CUE representatives visited the department of Food Science Nutrition and Technology .Fostering a collaborative spirit among the participating institutions. The discussions were productive, emphasizing potential partnerships and collaborative research opportunities among the three universities. 

All parties expressed a strong interest in forming a partnership that could enhance research capabilities and academic exchange.
