Postgraduate students progress meeting

The Chairman of the Department of Food Science Nutrition and Technology Dr. G.O.Abong' held an online meeting with postgraduate students on May 18, 2020 1.30 to 2.30 pm. A total of 41 students were able to connect and attend the meeting. The following was discussed 

• Students were informed that the university is moving on especially on the online platforms and lecturers in the department  have finished  what was remaining online and working on how they will offer exams online
• Students who are in the MSc. Class to be aware that they will do exams online because restrictions are still on
• Students should be ready to do defenses of proposals and thesis online, lecturers are signing documents online, so finish on time so there is nothing that is barring anyone from finishing.

Progress reports: Students were requested to keep on engaging their supervisors and submitting progress reports, after every three months they are supposed to submit progress report and this reports will undergo online tracking system , those who don’t understand this should consult the chair because everything will now be uploaded online in the portals. Ensure the three months progress reports are submitted on time.
