The College of agriculture and Veterinary Sciences (CAVS) hosted a tree planting event which took place at Veterinary Farm, Kanyariri and Wangari Mathai Institute of Peace and Environmental Studies (WMI) University of Nairobi. On Tuesday May 18, 2021. The event was led by the following partners:-
1. Dr. Fred Matiang'i - Cabinet Secretary for Interior and Coordination of National Government.
2.Hon. Keriako Tobiko- Cabinet Secretary for Environment and Forestry.
3. Prof. George Magoha- Cabinet Secretary for Education.
4. Dr. James Mwangi, Group MD and CEO Equity Group Holdings Plc
5. Members of Board of Equity Group Foundation
6. The University Leadership - Prof. Kiama Stephen Gitahi , Vice Chancellor University of Nairobi led the UON team
