HOSTING CCFH USA DELEGATION IN KENYA

On April 10-13, 2023, The Kenya National Codex Committee (NCCK) welcomed the delegation from the USA who are the current chair of the Codex Committee on Food Hygiene (CCFH54). Their visit was to confirm and validate the possible meeting venues for the CCFH54 that is scheduled for 10-16 March 2024 in Nairobi. Kenya is co-hosting this meeting for the 1st time in Africa and the NCCK is mandated to work closely with the team from the USA to realize this activity. Prof. Abong was nominated to co-chair the committee meeting with USA and he is expected to take an active role in the forthcoming meeting
