The University of Nairobi proudly honored its outstanding scholars during the 2024/2025 Students’ Recognition and Awards Ceremony. The event celebrated achievements across both academic excellence and extracurricular activities, showcasing the diverse talents and dedication of the university community.
Dr. Isaac Muuo Maitha, a staff member and PhD student from the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology, who received the prestigious award for Best Student for producing the Best Thesis.
In addition, 15 students from the Department of Food Science, Nutrition and Technology were awarded for their exceptional accomplishments, reflecting the department’s strong commitment to nurturing innovation, leadership, and holistic development.
University leadership commended the awardees for their resilience, creativity, and contributions to both scholarship and community life.
